An Open-Box product is merchandise that has been previously returned by a customer OR a new, unopened product that has been received by the manufacturer with exterior packaging damage.

Merchandise returned by a customer is not due to defects or damage. However, the product manufacturer packaging has been opened, damaged or missing. ChimeTime is unable to sell the product as new and unopened. Our quality assurance inspection has determined that the product is free from defect or damage. The product is known to be in proper working order and includes all original parts.

Merchandise received by the manufacturer with damaged packaging is not defective. These are new products that suffered packaging damage while in transit from the manufacturer to our warehouse. ChimeTime is unable to sell the product as new. Our quality assurance inspection has determined that the product is free from defect or damage.
